#MUSICMATTERS (to Us All) CAMPAIGN BENEFITING MUSICARES® COVID RELIEF FUND
The global coronavirus pandemic delivered swift change and immense anxiety to the door steps of many around the world. But none moreso than those in the live music and face-to-face experience industries impacted in the earliest days of the pandemic by loss of work due to venue closures, festival and event cancellations, travel restrictions and more due to the human and economic fallout of the COVID-19 virus.
In response, and as company itself impacted by the global economic pull-back, Encore Live teamed with Country Music superstar and friend of our company, Garth Brooks, to organize and launch #MusicMatters -- a 100% grassroots charitable initiative designed to leverage Encore Live's charitable arm, ENCORE LOVE, and the goodwill and contributions of an ever-increasing number of entertainers, celebrities, and musicians
who aligned with our mission and desired to support their brothers and sisters with basic living assistance.
Proceeds go to The Recording Academy's MusiCares® COVID-19 Relief Fund.
That's Doing Good Together because #MUSICMATTERS TO US ALL.
How To Bid and Donate
We made it easy to make a difference whether bidding on VIP experiences and autographed guitars to benefit the cause (Auction is now closed) or straight-up text-to-donate small "tip jar" amounts to The Recording Academy’s MusiCares COVID-19 Relief Fund (ongoing), set up to help event and music people most in need in every capacity of the industry. Proceeds provide rent or mortgage assistance and help compensate music and event people for lost work due to coronavirus-related implications.
In the midst of the pandemic’s tragedy, let's show how much #MusicMatters to all of us.
